Benefits of Virtual Sessions
One of the many struggles my clients have with finding a trainer who understands their bodies while considering their aches and pains is time.
As much as we can look for and search online for the in person trainer that would work well with our issues there just isn’t a comparison to being watched and educated on when it comes to healing after an injury. These are some of the ways virtual pilates sessions will work for you more than you’d believe.
Get your time back
We all know that Los Angeles is a city of driving and almost no walking in the daily life and activities. At most we jokingly say we will never go past the 405 but that leads to a very narrow area for a specialty service like rehabilitation focused pilates training. On average our clients who are local to me are spending 20-30 minutes each session to get to and from the studio and those are people who live mere blocks away. On average leading to 2-3 hours a week on just commuting to the studio. For some that is already part of their routine but it also is a factor for those with chronic or recurring low back pain!
Stress Less
You can also benefit from virtual sessions because it means you don’t need to worry about your child(ren) being home with child care you are also paying for! This is a multitude to why the virtual sessions work so well for many moms and parents of multiples to consider.
Get Professional Guidance
No matter where you are or where you plan to be, the expert guidance you can get from doing sessions online with your established trainer also means you can enjoy the same reminders, tips and tricks meant for you and your own body. The hands on approach still applies when we are seeing you online but in a way that works for the virtual setting.
Stick to a Routine
This is the most essential to clients who are looking to heal from an injury, ache or pain. Is the routine and consistency of committing to healing. Not only for the body to readjust to new movement patterns but also to get the healing to happen in the right areas quicker than returning back to pain and discomfort and resetting back to the corrective routines our sessions focus on.
Our MVNT Approach
A deep dive on our approach is in a previous post. Our MVNT method in summary focuses on all your past history, your lifestyle that may increase inflammation, and your goals and movement needs day to day.
These factors in mind develop into our full MVNT practice. Involved with in person or virtual pilates based training, following client education with an at home practice to continue daily. These become the stepping stones so that once each is met in ways that pain is reduced we continue to return your body to the abilities of it’s fullest potential while preventing further pain and discomfort that may involve more corrective exercises for imbalances in your musculature. Once each step is achieved we slowly progress to the movements the spine is able to do and challenge your areas of issue so that we provide the guidance and skills so that those movements no longer become an issue!
Our goal is to get you back to moving as your best self while preventing future set backs. So if this was informative to you and may interest you in becoming a client with me. Find our studio and see us for a consultation any day.
